Job summary

Starlink seeks a Production Supervisor for Injection Molding on the night shift to lead large teams of technicians and assemblers. You will manage production flow, ensure product quality, and work with engineers to scale from prototyping to full-scale production across a high-pace environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating production, enforcing standards, driving continuous improvement and safety, and reviewing manufacturability of drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in manufacturing/production.
• 1+ years of experience leading a team or project.
• 5+ years plastic injection molding experience in a production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting using scientific methods such as Paulson or RJG.
• Knowledge of robotics, automation and related equipment used with plastics molding.
• Experience with multi-shot molding, color blending, drying systems.
• Experience with highly automated injection molding cells.
• Lean manufacturing training and Six Sigma experience.
• Ability to read controlled documentation: drawings, schematics, GD&T, etc.
• Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability and Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and steer the efforts of electronics production associates.
• Enforce area standards and run rules; bi-annual reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Interface with area leadership; prioritize work to meet production schedule.
• Identify risks and implement mitigations for production.
• Coordinate support to minimize interruptions and ensure quality.
• Improve safety and efficiency through audits and continuous improvement.
• Optimize product flow and reduce downtime in the line.
• Support transition from engineering to full-rate production.
• Review drawings and data packages for manufacturability; provide feedback.
