Job summary

McCain Foods USA, Inc. in Washburn, ME is seeking a Production Supervisor Night Shift to lead daily potato processing operations, coaching teams and coordinating processing and packaging workflows.

You will ensure targets for safety, quality, and efficiency, supervise staff, drive continuous improvement, and support PSM/OSHA compliance, including ammonia systems, with a strong safety culture. Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years in food manufacturing or related production.
• Experience leading teams and meeting production schedules.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety programs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with OSHA safety requirements and PSM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations and coach teams.
• Manage staffing to meet schedules.
• Monitor output, line efficiency, quality, and process performance.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, GMP, sanitation.
• Train and cross-train employees.
• Promote safety culture, PPE, LOTO.
• Coordinate equipment setup and changeovers with maintenance.
• Reduce downtime and waste through continuous improvement.
• Complete production reporting and shift communication.
• Support PSM activities including MOC, PHA, investigations.
