Job summary

McCain Foods USA, Inc. in Easton, Maine is seeking a Forklift Operator - Utility for the night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM).

You will safely transport ingredients, chemicals, and supplies, enter process data in SAP, and support food safety and production efficiency. You will join a manufacturing team dedicated to quality food products, with responsibilities spanning material movement, inventory accuracy, and sanitation.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Minimum of three months of related experience or training.
Ability to obtain and maintain McCain Forklift Certification.
Basic computer skills with ability to enter data in SAP.

Responsibilities

Create, release, and enter process order data within SAP.
Transport supplies, chemicals, ingredients, and starch using powered industrial trucks.
Maintain accurate material consumption and inventory within SAP.
Ensure material staging areas comply with FIFO, FEFO, and food safety requirements.
Operate forklifts and other powered equipment according to safety policies.
Distribute materials to correct process orders following batch management guidelines.
Empty rock trap totes as required.
Perform daily and downtime sanitation activities.
Verify inventories staged for processing.
Unload chemicals and materials from transport trucks.
