Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Springfield, MO night shift (9pm–6am, Mon–Fri) to lead a manufacturing team on the plant floor. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while coaching staff and coordinating with maintenance, quality, and supply chain functions.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED with supervisory experience, strong English communication, and proficiency with Excel/Office tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year lead/supervisory experience or an equivalent combo.
• Bachelor’s degree in science, production management, business, or engineering preferred.
• Fluent English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Excel/Word/Outlook and reporting systems (MRP) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead production team during the 9pm–6am shift; ensure safety, quality and targets.
• Provide supervision, training and coverage for your shift and equipment.
• Communicate department targets and monitor KPIs, addressing variances and coaching as needed.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain for smooth production flow.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure accurate production status and information transfer.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environment and PPE procedures.
