Florida's Natural Growers is hiring a Production Foreman for the night shift to supervise daily manufacturing operations and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. This hands-on leadership role coordinates teams across departments, troubleshoots issues, and drives continuous improvement through lean practices.

Strong leadership and communication are essential; a high school diploma and 2 years in manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must pass Basic Skills Assessment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, safety standards, and quality control.
• Ability to read technical drawings, work orders, and production schedules.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with basic computer applications (MS Office, ERP or MES systems).
• Ability to make quick decisions under pressure and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of production workers, including assigning tasks and monitoring output.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are achieved.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Monitor equipment and machinery; coordinate maintenance or repairs with the maintenance team.
• Identify and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Train and mentor new and existing staff on standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
• Monitor raw material usage and inventory to prevent shortages or overuse.
• Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and incident logs.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
• Active participation and support of the plant safety program is required.
• Regular attendance required.
• Assist in other departments as needed and perform any other duties assigned.
