Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Process Technician to set up equipment, adjust production rates, and troubleshoot issues affecting quality and throughput. You will work with the team to meet plant goals and respond swiftly to alarms while maintaining safety standards on the manufacturing floor.

Your role involves analyzing molding defects, applying root-cause remedies, and proposing improvements to tooling, processes, and yields.

Qualifications

• Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting.
• Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Capable of operating a forklift safely and certified.
• Some computer experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to interpret traveler/work orders.

Responsibilities

• Report to front line leadership and work as a team to meet plant goals.
• Ensure production runs meet cycle specifications for maximum yields.
• Analyze molding defects to identify root causes and apply remedies.
• Suggest tooling or machine improvements for mold repairs and efficiency.
• Respond to alarms and take corrective action on quality/process issues.
• Maintain documentation and communicate effectively with shift personnel.
