Job summary

LiDestri Foods currently seeks a Process Operator for 12-hour nights (6:00pm-6:30am) in Fairport, NY. You will prepare products per batch cards and ensure quality checks are recorded. The role involves setting up equipment, verifying lot numbers, and maintaining a clean production area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to wear PPE (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net if applicable, Kevlar gloves, safety glasses and steel-toed shoes).
• Ability to use basic computer and math functions and reasoning.
• Ability to use basic hand tools (knife, pumps, scales).
• Previous experience as a machine operator.

Responsibilities

• Set up and ensure equipment is functioning.
• Follow batch cards verifying item codes, lot numbers, weights and descriptions.
• Prepare batches per batch card (kettles, breddos, brix, acid, and pH levels).
• Assist with reports for ingredient lot numbers.
• Remove unneeded products for current batch run.
• Participate in CIP activities as needed.
• Keep kitchen and utensils clean and ready for use.
• Understand written production orders.
• Report current inventory as needed.
• Report food safety & quality problems.
