Job summary

Keystone Powdered Metal Company in Cherryville, NC is seeking a Process Analyst for 3rd shift to support quality lab on the production floor. You will inspect and measure samples, review data, and report results to supervisors.

This role reports to the Quality Manager and requires hands-on measurement and metallurgical sample handling. Experience with blueprints, SPC, and precision measurement devices is required; data entry and accurate record-keeping are common tasks.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints for setup.
• Possess excellent written and verbal skills.
• Possess excellent math skills.
• Possess productivity computer skills.
• Must have hands-on experience with gauging and measuring devices.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Understand and apply SPC, interpret graphs for trends.
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Evaluate metallurgical microstructures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safe laboratory practices.

Responsibilities

• Accurately check production submissions to the Quality Lab.
• Gather appropriate samples from the production floor for analysis according to the inspection plan.
• Hands-on measurement of product and samples.
• Metallurgical sample preparation, testing, and interpretation of results.
• Communicate quality results to appropriate manufacturing personnel and supervisors.
• Accurate and legible record/input of results.
• Hand-off communication of Quality Lab issues to team members on other shifts.
• Data entry of inspection and test results, as needed.
• Prioritize work based on departmental guidelines.
• Work compatibly with associated groups.
• Incoming inspection and testing, as needed
• Comply with company health and safety guidelines.
• Other tasks, as required.
