Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college majors welcome with preference for criminal justice or related field.
• Associate degree preferred but not required; two or more years of comparable experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Interview recently arrested individuals in Central Booking to determine community ties and release recommendations.
• Explain bail procedures and assist sureties with payments.
• Record interview responses in the agency database and determine release recommendations using standardized assessments.
• Monitor arraignment outcomes and assist with bail processes; participate in bail-expediting programs.
