Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Pressroom Operator I for the 3rd shift (Sunday night–Thursday night, 10pm–6am) in Willard, Ohio. The role involves operating automatic presses, setting up dies, and performing changeovers with a focus on safety and quality.

A high school diploma or GED is required, with preferred experience in die setting and forklift operation. You will work with various production equipment, perform visual inspections, and support continuous improvement while maintaining a

Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Willing to work independently or with a group.

Responsibilities

Operate automatic presses, cranes, lift trucks, and other auxiliary equipment.
Adjust feeding and handling equipment (e.g., coil cradle, coil leveling).
Perform changeovers: set up dies and transfer dies in a press.
Visually inspect in-process and finished parts; check parts with fixtures.
Operate other production equipment as needed; stack parts as required.
Maintain safe operation of presses, lift trucks and related equipment.
Follow ISO standards and procedures to ensure quality.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement; keep the work area clean and safe.
Complete departmental tasks as directed by supervisor.
