Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year experience preferred in manufacturing; Hexcel experience preferred.
• Proficient with tape measure and ruler.
• Basic computer data entry knowledge.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedures; write reports; speak before groups.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic and interpret graphs.
• Capable of following written or verbal instructions and solving basic problems.

Responsibilities

• Operates non-metallic press, shear, steec, and expander to produce core with defined dimensions.
• Ensures continuous supply of aluminum loops and operates tumbler for clean parts.
• Reads routings, directs material to correct areas, and follows documentation.
• Checks blocks for defects and reports issues to supervisor or engineer.
• Calculates pressure, measures distance for caul plates, and sets cycle time; communicates with shifts.
• Shears blocks to ensure even edges and expands/frames blocks per specs.
• Assists with experimental materials and press cycles.
