Express Employment is seeking a Header Press Operator for 1st shift in Glendale, AZ. This role sets up, operates, and maintains header press machines to produce quality fasteners and metal components.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of related press experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality. The position offers a stable, full-time schedule with competitive pay.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Header or Press Operator experience.
Experience setting up and operating header machines.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments and perform quality inspections.
Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate header press machines per production specifications.
Monitor machine performance and adjust to ensure product quality.
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment.
Conduct quality inspections using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.
Maintain production records and quality documentation.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet production goals and deadlines.
