Job summary

Hexcel is seeking a Press/Expander Operator Non ME for its Casa Grande, AZ location. Start rate is $27.84 per hour during orientation (90 days), increasing to $30.02 per hour. This role follows a 2x2x5x5 schedule and overtime is common.

You will operate press/expander equipment and ensure block quality and production flow. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and at least one year in manufacturing. Experience with routines, safety rules, and data entry is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Proficient with tape measure and ruler.

Responsibilities

• Performs operations at non-metallic press, shear, steec, and expand.
• Follows documented procedures to produce core with defined dimensions.
• Maintains continuous supply of aluminum loops for blocks.
• Operates tumbler to keep parts clean for framing blocks.
• Reads routings and directs materials to correct areas.
• Checks blocks for defects and reports issues.
• Calculates pressure, measures distances, and sets cycle times.
• Communicates information to other shifts.
• Expands and frames blocks per specifications.
• Assists with experimental materials and press cycles.
