Pitney Bowes in Pine Brook, New Jersey is hiring a Direct Hire Full Time Presort Associate 1 for the 3rd shift (9:30 PM–6:00 AM). The position offers total pay of $17.25 per hour, including a $16.50 base wage and a $0.75 third-shift premium.

The team sorts mail and prepares packages at the Presort Services Facility. You will train to review dates, postage, barcodes, troubleshoot jams, monitor quality, and ensure readiness to meet SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Review dates, postage, and barcodes before production.
• Identify bad barcodes and communicate errors.
• Troubleshoot and remove mail piece jams.
• Monitor the quality of mail and packages before processing.
• Understand USPS labels and bin/tray matching.
• Follow Quality Management Systems to assure accuracy.
• Ensure sorter equipment and related devices run properly.
• Assist with inbound/outbound processing of mail/packages.
• Be aware of acceptance times and truck departure windows.
• Meet SLAs and maintain a safe work area.
• Perform additional duties as required.
