Pitney Bowes Presort Services in Atlanta, GA is hiring for a Direct Hire Full Time Presort Associate 1. The role offers $17 per hour, with an additional $1.50 per hour for 2nd shift. You will be trained to prepare outgoing mail, review postage and barcodes, and ensure quality before dispatch.

The position requires dependability, strong communication, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime and weekend work may be required, with potential for advancement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or a different shift with little notice.
• Current Pitney Bowes work experience as a Warehouse Mail Sorter is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing permit and metered mail with correct date, postage, and barcodes.
• Communicate errors and identify bad barcodes in mail/packages.
• Troubleshoot and clear mail piece jams from the sorter.
• Monitor quality of mail/packages before processing and dispatch.
• Understand USPS labels, zip codes, and matching bin numbers.
• Follow Quality Management Systems to ensure output quality.
• Assist with inbound and outbound processing of mail/packages.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with SLAs.
