Job summary

Hankook Tire Co. is seeking an experienced Machinist in Clarksville, TN to set up and operate a variety of machine tools. You will repair or machine parts, read blueprints, and ensure tolerances while working mainly in the shop environment.

A 2-2-3 rotating weekend schedule applies and welding is an advantage. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 4 years of utility equipment operation; strong English communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of previous utility equipment operation experience.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Safely set up and operate machine tools to produce precision parts.
• Repair or machine parts from stock materials as needed.
• Read blueprints and verify part dimensions to tolerances.
• Work independently in the machine shop and in collaboration with team members.
• Welding ability is a plus and attendance is essential.
