Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas in Hickory, NC is hiring a Pouching Assistant for the night shift. The role runs on a 12-hour rotating schedule (2-2-3) with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Pay starts at $19.32 per hour plus a $2.00 per hour night shift differential. Reporting to the Department Manager, you will inspect, pack, and machine-pack pouches, ensure quality, and follow food safety and regulatory requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in high-speed manufacturing preferred.
• Willingness to rotate shifts, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and pack pouches to meet order specs and quality.
• Operate bag machines safely and efficiently.
• Follow food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Review production orders for accuracy and proper setup.
• Record start counts and production data accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with shift transitions.
