Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking a Material Handler - Wrapper in Hickory, NC for a 12-hour night shift (7PM–7AM, 2-2-3 schedule). Pay rate is $19.93/hour plus $2.00 shift differential.

You will support shipping and inventory, operate material handling equipment, and help ensure safe, accurate shipments. Responsibilities include tracking inventory with scan guns, staging goods, verifying counts, labeling pallets, and performing safety inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous forklift and material handling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for full shift.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer and scanning system skills.

Responsibilities

• Use scan guns to track and record inventory locations.
• Pull finished goods and stage materials for shipment.
• Verify counts to fulfill shipping orders accurately.
• Print and apply labels to outgoing pallets.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Perform forklift safety inspections at the start of each shift.
• Follow plant safety and food safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
