Job summary

TekniPlex is hiring a 3rd Shift Packer in Clayton, NC to inspect, pack, label, and prepare finished products for shipment in a manufacturing setting. The role reports to the production team and supports quality standards and GMP guidelines on the line.

Hours are 11pm–7:30am, Sunday–Thursday, with overtime as needed. The pay rate is $22 per hour, and the position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with packaging experience, basic computer skills, and potential forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 1-2 years packaging experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Prior forklift experience preferred or ability to obtain forklift license with training.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products for package count, damage or quality issues before packaging.
• Manually pack products according to company standards and work instructions.
• Generate computerized labels and label cartons, boxes, and pallets.
• Count, sort, and organize products prior to moving to staging area for shipment.
• Maintain accurate production and packing records and ensure materials are stocked at workstations.
