TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking a Material Handler - Wrapper to support shipping and inventory operations in Hickory, NC. The role involves operating material handling equipment, tracking inventory with scan guns, and ensuring accurate, on-time shipments on a 12-hour night shift.

You will verify counts, prepare labels, and maintain a safe, organized work area. A high school diploma and prior forklift experience are required, with strong attention to detail and teamwork valued.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience in manufacturing environment.
• Ability to handle raw materials and finished goods.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Scan inventory locations with scan guns.
• Pull finished goods and stage for shipment.
• Verify counts for accurate shipping orders.
• Print and apply labels to pallets.
• Assist with year-end inventory and cycle counts.
• Perform trailer lockout and truck inspections.
• Print/process releases for shipments.
• Create bills of lading and shipping docs.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Conduct forklift safety checks at shift start per OSHA.
• Follow plant safety and food safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area.
