Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking a Pouching Assistant for the night shift in Hickory, NC. Reporting to the Department Manager, you will inspect and pack pouches from assigned machines to ensure orders meet specifications, operate bag machines safely, review orders for accuracy, and verify sealers function properly.

This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment on a rotating 12-hour schedule (2-2-3).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in high-speed manufacturing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to quality and safety.
• Able to communicate effectively with team.
• Willing to work rotating schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and pack pouches from assigned machines to meet order specifications and quality standards.
• Operate bag machines safely and efficiently.
• Review production orders for accuracy and proper setup; verify sealers are functioning.
• Record start counts and production data accurately.
• Build and label boxes with correct counts and order details; seal and move completed boxes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and participate in shift handoffs.
