Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is hiring a Maintenance Technician IV to perform complex mechanical and electrical duties in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on PLC troubleshooting, program design, and equipment maintenance within a fast-paced production line.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), knowledge of electrical codes, and 4+ years in industrial maintenance with PLC exposure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of electrical code.
• Journeyman electrical license preferred.
• Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred.
• 4 or more years industrial maintenance experience and 2 years industrial electrical experience.
• Formal PLC training preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLCs using handheld device or laptop.
• Design and redesign program and software (PLCs, operator panels).
• Install, maintain or repair equipment for generation and distribution of electrical energy.
• Locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems from blueprints or drawings.
• Work with load calculations for wiring and equipment.
• Lead projects and drive process improvements to production efficiency.
