Job summary

Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is seeking Mixers for the Jonesboro, AR facility to blend chemicals per quality dockets. The role emphasizes material handling, Oracle-based workflows, and tight integration with blending and extrusion equipment.

The team operates on a Night Shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with pay ranging from $20.00 to $22.30 per hour based on experience. A High School Diploma or GED and some manufacturing exposure are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or a minimum of three months of manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating a computer.

Responsibilities

• Remove unused raw material, scrap plastic, cardboard, and general trash from Inline machines daily and when orders are complete.
• Identify material with Oracle system, label and scan to storage area.
• Connect raw materials to feed hoppers, blending systems, storage tanks and extruder hoppers as needed.
• Assist in troubleshooting material flow issues with manufacturing personnel.
• Identify material lines for each blender, extruder, and storage tank; ensure correct material.
• Set up blender settings for each line based on specs and available materials.
• Adjust regrind percentages to manage surge bin and regrind levels.
• Work from Oracle work orders and determine percentage needed for finished product.
• Identify all raw materials used in the facility.
• Fill blenders and extruder hoppers with materials for the work order.
• Operate baler, compactor, scales, wrapper machines; maintain and clean equipment.
