Job summary

Polytainers Inc in the United States is seeking a Packer in the Molding department for our Continental Nights shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). The role focuses on packing molded production parts, inspecting quality, and supporting line operations on a fast-paced shop floor.

The position offers an hourly rate of $18.04 with a $2 differential for night hours, and opportunities to advance to Machine Operator or Cell Leader. A high school diploma or GED and good English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements include a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Physical requirements include exposure to moving machinery and loud environments.
• Communication skills: Conversational English with good verbal and written skills.
• Additional education/experience/skills: Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Packing production parts into boxes per packing specifications.
• Obtain packing supplies from designated spots at each machine as per packaging specs.
• Assemble and label boxes, move packed boxes through the tape machine.
• Visually inspect tray parts for defects (Packer Reliever).
• Relieve other Packers for lunches, breaks, and cover absenteeism when assigned.
• Perform line clearance during product changes and assist with non-conformance disposition.
• Complete inspection forms and line clearance checklists during shifts.
