Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is seeking Mixers for its Jonesboro, AR facility. The role focuses on blending chemicals per Quality Dockets and maintaining inline equipment.

The position offers a night shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am with pay between $20.00 and $22.30 per hour based on experience. Responsibilities include material handling, labeling, machine set-up, and collaboration with manufacturing personnel to resolve flow issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or a minimum of three months of manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating a computer.
• Forklift experience (advantage)
• 1 year or more working in a manufacturing, industrial, construction or military environment (advantage)

Responsabilités

• Remove unused raw material, scrap plastic, cardboard, and general trash from Inline machines daily and when orders are complete.
• Use the Oracle system to identify material, label it, and scan it to storage area.
• Connect raw materials to feed hoppers, blending systems, and storage tanks as needed.
• Assist in troubleshooting with manufacturing personnel on material flow issues to production lines.
• Identify material lines for each blender/extruder and ensure correct material.
• Set blender settings for each line based on finished product specs and available materials.
• Adjust regrind percentages to manage surge bin and regrind stock.
• Work off Oracle work orders and compute percentages needed for finished product.
• Identify all raw materials used in the facility.
• Fill blenders and extruder hoppers with materials required for each work order.
• Operate baler, compactor, scales, wrapper machines; maintain and clean equipment.
