Job summary

Alkegen is hiring for a Night Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, maintain and repair plant equipment. You will support production lines, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep operations running.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a Technical Certificate in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent experience. The candidate should be comfortable on night shift and with heavy lifting, plus basic computer skills

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalency is required.
• Technical Certificate in Industrial Maintenance is preferred and 3-5 years relevant experience, or 5-7 years experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily checks of the physical plant at shift start.
• Respond to maintenance calls to production lines and auxiliary equipment.
• Provide mechanical repairs and assist contractors as needed.
• Weld and fabricate to completed projects and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical breakdowns and PLC I/O.
• Maintain PMs and keep paperwork up to date.
• Ensure production lines run at high availability with minimal downtime.
