Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Plant Maintenance Mechanic for the day shift (7:00 am–7:30 pm) in production facilities. The role focuses on keeping production equipment running, performing preventive maintenance, and diagnosing mechanical issues using precision tools and manuals.

The candidate will troubleshoot machinery, replace worn parts, and document maintenance activities while upholding safety standards in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma required.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a clean work environment.
• Able to read diagrams, manuals, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors, and production machines.
• Locates problems by observing equipment in operation and using measuring tools.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Maintains inventory levels and orders parts and supplies as needed.
• Keeps detailed maintenance reports and communicates downtime and issues.
