Job summary

3M is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II for the 3rd shift to support plant operations and maintenance tasks. You will lead projects from planning through execution, work with prints and drawings, and apply mechanical and electrical skills to solve problems on site.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Overtime and call-ins may be required to ensure 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, verified prior to start.
• 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Night shift with 24/7 operations support (overtime and call-ins as needed).
• Current, valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance projects from start to finish, support plant operations and building functions, working solo or in a team.
• Interpret prints, drawings, and sketches; conceive and execute mechanical and/or electrical maintenance solutions.
• Set up and operate shop equipment and tools; repair or rebuild plant equipment, jigs, fixtures, and related tools.
