NGK Ceramics plant in Mooresville is seeking a Plant Supervisor for the night 12-hour shift. The role leads supervisory staff and supports operations leadership in production, assembly, and maintenance while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.

You will coordinate with HR, manage attendance and policy adherence, and drive continuous improvement through Kaizen activities. Strong communication with maintenance and process teams is essential.

Formación

• 5 years’ experience in operations management.
• Preferred 2 years in HR relations.
• Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing setting.

Responsabilidades

• Observe processes to ensure safety, productivity, and quality.
• Support supervisors to manage quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale.
• Assist with attendance tracking, PTO and timekeeping.
• Coordinate with HR on employment decisions and staffing needs.
• Lead safety initiatives and accident investigations.
• Provide coaching and development for staff through the area supervisor.
