Job summary

Penguin Random House in Westminster, MD is seeking a 3rd shift picker/packer to support our distribution center operations. The role involves picking and packing book orders, using voice automation, and ensuring accurate, timely shipments during the 11:00 PM–7:00 AM shift.

Successful candidates will demonstrate basic reading and math skills, stand for the entire shift, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly (35 pounds occasionally).

Qualifications

• Requires basic reading and math skills.
• Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis, occasionally up to 35 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift.
• Must be able to climb stairs and work on an upper mezzanine level.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer book orders using a variety of methods including voice automation.
• Support distribution center operations to meet daily shipping goals.
