Job summary

Penguin Random House LLC is seeking a 1st Shift Picker/Packer for the Westminster, MD distribution center. The role handles pick/pack of book orders, lifting up to 25–35 pounds, and requires basic reading and math skills.

Workdays are Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, onsite with opportunities to contribute to fast-paced fulfillment operations. Qualified applicants must be at least 18 years old and capable of standing for the shift on a mezzanine level.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and perform basic math.
• Able to push, pull, bend, stoop and lift up to 25–35 pounds.
• Must stand for the full shift and work on an upper mezzanine level.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer book orders using voice automation and other methods.
• Support a 1st shift Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:00pm schedule.
• Maintain safety and quality while meeting daily shipping targets.
