Job summary

Penguin Random House LLC in Westminster, Maryland is hiring a 3rd shift picker/packer to support our distribution center operations. You will pick, pack, and ship books as part of a fast-paced team, with pay of $18.40 per hour on-site.

Requirements include basic reading and math, ability to lift 25 lb regularly (35 lb occasionally), stand for the shift, climb stairs, and be at least 18 years old. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• The Westminster, Maryland Distribution Center is currently seeking applicants for:
• Pick and pack customer book orders using a variety of methods including voice automation
• Requires basic reading and math skills
• Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach and lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on a regular basis, occasionally up to thirty-five (35) pounds.
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift (minimal breaks provided)
• Must be able to climb stairs and be comfortable working on an upper mezzanine level
• Minimum age requirement is 18.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily production targets for shipping volumes
