Job summary

Penguin Random House LLC in Westminster, MD, is seeking a Light Picker/Packer (Order Processor 1) to join our distribution team. The role focuses on picking and packing orders for 1.2 million daily shipments using voice automation and other methods.

The position starts at $16 base with 12.5% shift differential, totaling $18.00 per hour. You must be 18+, able to lift up to 25–35 lbs, stand entire shifts, and work 1st shift Mon-Fri 3:00pm–11:00pm. Background check and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and math skills required.
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift.
• Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25–35 pounds.
• Must be able to climb stairs and work on an upper mezzanine.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer book orders using voice automation and other methods.
• Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain safety and organization in the packing area.
