Jefferson Health is seeking a Phlebotomist for the night shift (11pm–7:30am) at our Philadelphia labs. You will obtain blood specimens by venipuncture, fingerstick or heelstick, following proper policies and patient identification.

The role includes handling specimens, communicating requirements to nursing staff, ensuring accurate collection, and maintaining safety standards. The shift includes every other weekend and summer/winter rotations, based in Philadelphia, PA.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Performs phlebotomy and ensures accurate collection of tests through venipuncture, fingerstick or heelstick.
• Maintains positive patient identification during specimen collection.
• Communicates requirements and fasting needs to nursing or physician offices.
• Checks requisitions for missing information and follows up as needed.
• Cleans and stocks work areas and follows safety policies.
