Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy Technician certification preferred.

• Demonstrates proficiency in proper collection methods and specimen handling.

Responsibilities

• Obtains quality blood samples using phlebotomy methods for all age groups.
• Ensures accurate patient identification and proper specimen labeling, processing, and transport.
• Assists in patient care during emergencies and supports education of new staff.
• Communicates procedures clearly to patients and care teams to ensure satisfaction.
• Troubleshoots specimen, order, and operational issues; maintains HIPAA compliance.
