Job summary

Americare Senior Living in Sikeston, MO, is hiring a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) for the night shift on a full-time basis. Starting pay is $14.50–$16.25 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth in a memory care community at Westridge Place.

You will support residents with daily activities, monitor safety, and work with a caring team to enhance quality of life for seniors in a home-like setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
