Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents’ daily living in a warm, home-like setting in Sappington, MO. You will help with bathing, dressing, mobility, and emotional support while collaborating with a caring team.

You’ll document care activities, monitor safety, and participate in activities that enhance residents’ quality of life. The role emphasizes respect, dignity, and excellent customer service within a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment
