Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents’ daily living and emotional well‑being in a warm, home‑like setting in Sikeston, MO. The role requires teamwork with caregivers and nursing staff to deliver excellent resident-centered care.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor safety, document care, and participate in activities that enhance quality of life, under the company values of Respect, Integrity, Servant Heart, and Growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity
• Monitor resident safety and observe signs of distress or changes in condition
• Document resident care, activities, and changes accurately
• Communicate with nursing staff and caregivers about resident needs
• Engage residents in activities promoting physical, emotional, and social well‑being
• Respect resident privacy and HIPAA requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment
