Job summary

First Day Homecare is seeking compassionate RNs and LPNs to provide one-on-one nursing care to a pediatric patient at the family’s home in Cleveland, NC. We offer flexible opportunities for full-time or part-time schedules and a dedicated nursing team.

Available shifts include weeknights and weekends with overnight coverage (11 PM–7 AM). Requirements include NC RN/LPN license, pediatric tracheostomy/ventilator experience, G-tube care, CPR/BLS, and strong clinical judgment.

Qualifications

Active North Carolina RN or LPN license.
Pediatric tracheostomy and ventilator management experience required.
G-tube experience.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Strong clinical judgment, reliability, and a compassionate, family-centered approach.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized nursing care to a pediatric patient at home.
Perform tracheostomy care and ventilator management.
Provide G-tube care, feedings, and medications as ordered.
Monitor the patient’s condition and respond to changes.
Follow the plan of care and emergency protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and communicate with the family and clinical team.
