Job summary

First Day Homecare in Troutman, NC is seeking compassionate RNs and LPNs to provide one-on-one pediatric home nursing. You’ll administer tracheostomy and ventilator care, manage G-tubes, medications, and monitor the child’s condition in the home setting.

This position offers night shifts, flexible scheduling, competitive pay ($35–$36/hour) and benefits such as health, vision, and 401(k). Active NC RN or LPN license and CPR/BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered North Carolina RN or LPN license.
• Pediatric tracheostomy and ventilator experience preferred.
• G-tube care experience is required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Strong clinical judgment and family-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home nursing care to a pediatric patient.
• Perform tracheostomy care and ventilator management.
• Provide G-tube care, feedings, and medications as ordered.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Follow plan of care and emergency protocols.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and communicate with family.

First Day Homecare is looking for compassionate, dependable RNs and LPNs to provide one-on-one nursing care to a pediatric patient in the comfort of their home in Troutman, NC.

Schedule Options

• Weeknight Nurse: Monday–Thursday, 11 PM–7 AM (32 hours per week)
• Weekend Nurse: Friday–Saturday, 11 PM–7 AM (16 hours per week)
• Pay: $35–$36/hour, based on experience and qualifications

What You'll Do

• Provide individualized nursing care to a pediatric patient at home.
• Perform tracheostomy care and ventilator management.
• Provide G-tube care, feedings, and medications as ordered.
• Monitor the patient's condition and respond appropriately to changes.
• Follow the plan of care and established emergency protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) and communicate with the family and clinical team.

What We're Looking For

• Active, unencumbered North Carolina RN or LPN license.
• Previous pediatric tracheostomy and ventilator management experience required.
• G-tube care experience.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required for the position.
