Phoenix Children's in Phoenix is seeking experienced Full-Time Night Shift RN to join our General Pediatrics team at the Thomas Campus. This unit serves a diverse pediatric population from newborns to teens, with GI, Endocrine, and Infectious Disease focuses.

The role features a 4:1 patient ratio, cross-coverage flexibility, and orientation tailored to experience. Pediatric RN experience is preferred; adult-to-peds transition candidates are welcome, but new grads are not considered.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of inpatient RN experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Pediatric RN experience is preferred; adult-to-peds transition candidates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Completes nursing assessment of patient conditions and initial plan of care.
• Continually evaluates patient responses to care and documents progress.
• Contributes to team effort by ensuring medication, storage and documentation standards.
• Provides unit orientation and education to patients and families.
• Supervises patient care activities and mentors students and new staff.
• Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
