Job summary

Phoenix Children's NICU in Gilbert is seeking an experienced registered nurse for its Level III NICU. This night shift role may be full-time or part-time and requires onboarding at our Thomas Campus NICU.

The position offers care for neonates and families, with a patient-centered approach in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include comprehensive nursing assessments, ongoing evaluation of patient responses, collaboration with the healthcare team, and mentorship of students and new staff

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes nursing assessments of patient conditions across age and development.
• Continually evaluates patient responses to care, teaching and discharge plans.
• Supervises patient care activities of assigned team members and delegates accordingly.
• Provides orientation to the unit and hospital systems to patients and families.
• Collaborates with the care team to implement and communicate the care plan.
• Mentors students and new staff in best practices and patient-centered care.
