Posting Note: Seeking only experienced Full-Time-Night Shift RN's to join our General Pediatrics team at our Thomas Campus in downtown Phoenix. This is a collaborative, team-oriented environment caring for a diverse pediatric population from young infants through 18+ years of age. The unit specializes in GI, Endocrine, and Infectious Disease care. We treat patients with respiratory conditions such as cystic fibrosis and specialize in diabetes education. This unit also provides medical stabilization for patients with disordered eating and provides post-operative care for bariatric surgery patients. Nurses typically manage a 4:1 ratio (occasionally 3:1) and work in a flexible unit model that supports cross-coverage as needed. The schedule is night shift with every other weekend requirement, and orientation is 4-12 weeks, tailored to experience. At least 2 years of inpatient RN experience preferred, but must have 1 year inpatient experience to be considered. Pediatric RN experience is preferred; however, we welcome adult-to-peds transition candidates who are adaptable and eager to learn. Ideal candidates thrive in a strong team culture, communicate well, and are comfortable caring for a variety of pediatric diagnoses. New Grads will not be considered for this role.
