Job summary

Children's Health in Plano, TX seeks a Registered Nurse for the General Pediatrics team on the night shift (3 x 12-hour shifts, 7 PM–7:30 AM). Independently performs direct patient care using the nursing process, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and execute care plans that meet patient and family needs.

Minimum one year of relevant experience and a BSN is required. Licenses include TX RN, BLS, ACLS, NRP, PACES, and PALS; additional hospital-specific requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• BSN in Nursing is required.
• At least 1 year of job-related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with health care professionals to develop and implement a plan of care.
• Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly in appropriate systems.
• Maintain PHI protection and infection prevention practices.
