Job summary

Camber Mental Health in Wichita, KS seeks a Charge Nurse (RN) for the night shift to lead a multidisciplinary team and provide direct patient care to children and adolescents.

You will supervise staff, mentor licensed and non-licensed nurses, and participate in staff development to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered with evening and weekend differentials.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas is required.
• At least 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience or ANCC certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate patient care activities on your assigned shift.
• Lead and mentor licensed and non-licensed nursing staff.
• Participate in staff development and performance evaluation.
• Provide direct, compassionate care to children and adolescents.
• Represent management in the absence of senior staff.
• Monitor program safety and lead crisis response as needed.
