Tanglewood Nursing & Rehabilitation in Topeka, KS is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) for a full-time night shift. You will administer medications, monitor vitals, and assist with daily living activities under the supervision of RNs and physicians.

The role emphasizes patient advocacy and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans that promote recovery and comfort. A Kansas RN license and BLS are required; LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Kansas.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient conditions and report significant findings to the healthcare team.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to update care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Educate residents and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
