Camber Children's Mental Health Hospital in Wichita is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for the day shift to provide direct care to children and teens in a trauma-informed environment.

This full-time role offers competitive pay, a $5,000 sign-on for new full-time nurses, shift differentials, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to grow clinical skills within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Licensure: Licensed as an RN or LPN in Kansas
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Experience: New graduates welcome to apply!

Responsibilities

• Take medication orders and supervise the dispensing of medications
• Chart and maintain accurate medical records
• Assess medical health concerns, including infection control, and ensure timely care
• Collaborate with the staff nutritionist to meet patients’ dietary needs
• Communicate with case managers or adults responsible for patients’ physical health
• Assist with injuries and accidents
• Consult with direct care staff to support patient well-being
