Job summary

Camber Children’s Mental Health Hospital in Wichita, KS is seeking compassionate Staff Nurses (RN or LPN) for the night shift (7pm–7am) to provide direct care in a trauma-informed environment for children aged 6–18.

Salary ranges from $27.00 to $43.50 per hour, with a $5,000 sign-on for new, full-time nurses. Full benefits include medical/vision/dental, 403b with company match, tuition reimbursement up to $21,000, and support programs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed as RN or LPN in the State of Kansas.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• New graduates welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Take medication orders and supervise the dispensing of medications
• Chart and maintain accurate medical records
• Assess medical health concerns, including infection control, and ensure timely care
• Collaborate with the staff nutritionist to meet patients’ dietary needs
• Communicate with case managers or adults responsible for patients’ physical health
• Assist with injuries and accidents
• Consult with direct care staff to support patient well-being
