Job summary

Camber Mental Health in Wichita, KS seeks a Charge Nurse (RN) for the night shift to lead a multidisciplinary team and provide direct patient care to children and adolescents.

You will supervise staff, mentor licensed and non-licensed nurses, and participate in staff development to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered with evening and weekend differentials.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas is required.
• At least 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience or ANCC certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate patient care activities on your assigned shift.

Are you a compassionate nursing professional dedicated to helping children heal and thrive? Camber Children’s Mental Health is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) to join our caring, multidisciplinary team. In this vital role, you will provide direct patient care, lead and mentor staff, and ensure a safe, supportive environment for children and adolescents receiving mental health treatment.

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise and coordinate patient care activities on your assigned shift
• Lead and mentor licensed and non-licensed nursing staff
• Participate in staff development and performance evaluation

• Represent management and administration in their absence
• Monitor program safety and lead crisis response as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Associates degree in nursing required. BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas
• Experience: At least 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience or ANCC certification in psychiatric nursing
• Must be at least 20 years old to apply. Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required.
