AdventHealth Port Charlotte is seeking an experienced registered nurse for night shift duties in a full-time capacity. The role involves conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, and administering medications within hospital protocols.

You will educate patients and families, coordinate with the healthcare team, and document all care activities. Continuous professional development is encouraged in a faith-based, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• A wide range of professional nursing certifications listed in the qualification block.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across multiple domains.
• Develop and implement patient care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocol.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and outcomes.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and adjust plans to improve outcomes.
